Ruofan Lin is a Master of Global Affairs candidate at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto where she double majored in International Relations and Criminology with a minor in Economics. Ruofan previously worked at Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in the federal government where she was a policy analyst researching emerging technologies, business activity, and economic growth in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. She is interested in the intersection of innovation and climate policy, having contributed to government research papers focused on artificial intelligence adoption across Canada and the deployment of carbon capture, use, and storage (CCUS). Ruofan is excited to bring her professional experience and academic interests to Arctic360, particularly in areas of Arctic innovation, security, and sustainability.
